Captain Charles Trowbridge - 28-38, white male. Also plays policeman and Petey, a Confederate soldier
Dolly Reed - 40-60, Black female. Also plays Mrs. Geary and Emancipation Day attendee.
Shakespeare - 40-50, Black male. Also plays Leroy, a Union soldier. As Leroy, he is the lead singer in the Emancipation Day scene.
Mrs. Green - 30-40, white female. Also plays Mrs. Grest and Mrs. Turner
Sam - 40-50, white male. Confederate soldier. Also plays Mr. Grest, Mr.O’Connor and a policeman.
